FAQ

What are your opening hours?

Office Hours Monday – Friday, 9am – 4.30pm

Kitchen: Thursday and Friday 12 midday to 4pm. The kitchen is closed at weekends.

The office and kitchen are closed on Bank Holidays.

What days do you deliver?

We deliver on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

What time will I receive my delivery?

Our vans leave the kitchen at 8.30am to start their route. They work up to 5.30pm. We use a very clever software tool to create our driver’s routes as this allows us to maximise the number of deliveries for each van. We therefore cannot offer timed deliveries or take requests for specific delivery times.

If you wish to know what time your order is being delivered, you can send an email with your order number to: shop@lepatissier.ie the evening before your delivery date and we will respond the next morning. We will only know the delivery times the evening before.

How can I order?

We take orders via the online store exclusively. We cannot take orders over the phone or by email. Please do not call to our kitchen to purchase items, as we only make to order and do not hold stock.

What if I need to make a change or cancel my order?

Please note that changes to an order for delivery or collection (for example delivery address, product ordered, delivery or collection date or cancellation) must be made 48 hours before the confirmed delivery or collection date.

For example if you have ordered a delivery or collection for Thursday, we must receive notice of any change BEFORE 9am on the Tuesday. This is to ensure that we have sufficient time to amend/cancel the order prior to production of the Goods.

We cannot accept changes or cancellations to orders that are due for delivery or collection outside of the above times as all Goods are made fresh to order and may be prepared and boxed ready for dispatch. Although we will use reasonable endeavours to try and facilitate any changes to an Order if requested, we cannot guarantee that any such changes will be made. Orders placed, changed or any cancellations thereof after 12pm on a Friday or on a Saturday/Sunday or public holiday will be treated as having been received on the following working day.

All goods are made to order and by their nature are perishable and have a limited shelf life. Whilst we will allow cancellation of orders, we will not have any obligation to refund where the Order has already been made and is available for collection or delivery. Please read our full Terms and Conditions.

Where do you deliver to?

We currently offer a service to most areas in the County of Dublin.  We are a small family business, we operate the deliveries ourselves and this limits our delivery reach.  We are always looking at ways to improve our service and expand our delivery solution but our products need a lot of care and attention in transit and we want to ensure that they arrive at their destination in the same shape as they leave our kitchen.

How long does it take to make my order?

As everything is made fresh in our kitchen, the chefs need notice and time to prepare your order. We require a minimum of two full working days (weekends are not included). The calendar on the checkout page will indicate when the next available date is for collection and delivery. We have a small delivery team and can only take a certain number of orders for delivery each day. Once this limit has been reached, we have to close the day for orders.

We cannot predict how quickly our vans will fill up, but based on experience, we advise to book at least 1 week in advance to ensure you get the date that you want.

If ordering for collection, when and where do I collect my order?

Collections are available once they are booked on the online store and you have received a confirmation number. The kitchen is open for collections between the hours of 12 midday and 4pm. Please do not come to the kitchen at any other time.

Can I visit the kitchen?

Unfortunately we do not allow any visitors or customers into our kitchen! There is no shop and we do not hold stock. Everything is made from orders received in advance.

What ingredients do you use?

We only use the finest ingredients in our kitchen, this includes Irish dairy, real butter, Tipperary Cream Cheese, the best chocolate and fruit from local suppliers when it’s available. Unfortunately we do NOT provide: Gluten Free, Diary Free, Vegetarian/Vegan, Halal or Diabetic products.

Do you use nuts in your products?

We would not recommend anyone to purchase products from us if they have a nut allergy. Although some of our products do not contain nuts, we do use a lot of nuts in our kitchen and there is always a risk with handling and cross contamination.

Where can I find an allergen list?

We list all our allergens on the website under each product. We also label each box with the allergens.

How long will my cakes and patisserie last?

Our products will keep up to 4 days including the day of receipt in the fridge. Please do not leave them outside of the fridge. For cakes, we recommend that you bring them to room temperature before eating.

Can I customise my patisserie?

Unfortunately we cannot customise boxes or desserts as we are running with a limited team. There is a field in the check out process that allows you to add a message on top of certain cakes. We cannot decorate the mixed boxes of patisserie or the tarts.

We do not offer the option to add or remove items to the mixed boxes.

Can I make corporate bookings?

If you are a company and wish to order multiple items for your colleagues, please contact our office on: 01 640 2222.
