Our Story

Le Patissier is a family business owned by award winning chef Robert Bullock. From 2012, when Robert set up the business to early 2020, Le Patissier was a thriving wholesale kitchen supplying some of the leading hotel groups, food distributors, catering companies, airlines and supermarkets in Ireland.

When covid hit, all bar one of Le Patissier’s customers closed their doors. Most of the team had to be laid off as the future of the business looked challenging. With the help of family and friends, the shop at Le Patissier was literally built overnight offering premium quality handmade desserts to the County of Dublin. 

Within three months, the entire family were roped in, driving the vans, delivering to a new customer base that rapidly grew. Little did their customers know, they were bringing the entire team of chefs back to work at Le Patissier. Behind the business, they were supporting a local fruit supplier, Irish packaging suppliers, Irish dairy and egg suppliers and a chain of Irish jobs and businesses. 

Today the shop operates on a predominantly seasonal basis offering collections from the wholesale kitchen or with limited deliveries when capacity allows. 

Award Winning Premium Patisserie

Le Patissier have won multiple awards over the years at both The Irish Food Awards and The Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards.  

A key contributor to this success is the talented and experienced team of pastry chefs combined with the use of high quality ingredients including Irish dairy and free range eggs.  Sourcing from and supporting other Irish businesses continues to be a focus for Le Patissier.
